February in the UK is not my favorite month of the year. It can be cold, wet, and icy. Not ideal conditions for a 14 mile time trial. But every year, unless the road is covered in ice, the Kingston Wheelers CC hold this event in memory of Gil Jessop, an original member of the club. When asked how he trained for 24 hour races.
